  following on from wantstoleave thread about the ark/flood an interesting point was made that i had not thought of before.

  nor i belive was it ever explained in any of my time int the borg.. the kiwi bird, native to new zealand, flightless.

  now how did that bird survive a flood?

  Highdose, why do you complicate such a simple issue.... let me explain...

  1) All contnets were connected before flood

  2) Jehovah miraculously directed all the animals to go to the Ark

  3) During the flood continets were torn apart, but remained connected by "bridges"

  4) After all the specific animals used the bridges to get on their islands, these bridges miraculously crushed into the sea (so today there is no evidence of them... BTW why shoud we need some???)

  I have not made anything up, everything is based on research of WT scientist and published in WTBS publications. (You can find everything here on JWN)

  So where do you see any problem darling?

  (Oh you all time doubting apostates...)

  How will anyone know when the "Great Tribulation" begins?

  will there be an announcment on the world news saying " a great tribulation has begun in the world" or will the gb send a letter to all the kh's to scare the piss out of everybody saying "we the gb being gods chosen channel of communication have decided that the world's situation seems dire and are pleased to tell you that the great tribulation has started!".

  obviously the world has been in a great tribulation since the time of jesus.

  great tribulation does not mean some event that has to happen all at once all of a sudden.

  Noone will never know, becouse it will never arrive. Armageddon was not invented so it should arrive, but for us to be able to wait for it...

  So keep waiting and stop asking silly questions!

  I got a role in an independent movie!

  i went on an audition last tuesday and found out just now that i got a part.

  i didn't get the part i auditioned for but that's to be expected because i'm new to acting.

  i'm going to be in one scene.

  Brilliant Talk Yesterday

  just thought i would share this.........a brother who used to be a mercenary before he came into the truth gave the talk at the hall yesterday and he said that the bible was like jehovah's cv.....it told us everything about him.....so we can really know him.. he also said with all the governments and all the rules and regulations in the world, and nothing working at the moment, we should appreciate that jehovah only has 2 laws.............love him above all other things, and love our neighbours..........if only the whole world obeyed those 2 laws there would be peace without the need for armageddon................so its all down to humans why things are going wrong.. if we abandoned the planet tomorrow the earth would repair itself and there would be peace and harmony in nature.......... man has really messed up.. thank goodness we have had the chance to know jehivah and have a hope for the future!!.

  Is really life in yor country so miserable? I live in Eastern Europe, but we have great life here - we have freedom, we have things to eat, we can buy whatever we need, we have reliable medical system, social security system, police, elctricity, water on tap, heating, more TV channels than we need....... life is great here. Is it really so bad around you? So come over....

  Do you really believe we live in the worst time on Earth ever? What century would you prefer to live in?

  It reminds me my JW wife, who told me lately: "Yes it the worst time ever, .... but I wouldnt like to live in any other century for a second..."

  Fade rapidly OR jeopardise the fade by helping family/friends learn the truth and remain part of our lives?

  can i say from the outset that i feel grief and frustration over family/friends that are not aware of the truth about the "truth".

  they are good people who genuinely believe - as we all did at one time- that they are in gods organization and that this is what he requires of them.. .

  how liberating for us to have come to know the real truth and how sad they remain guilt ridden and under mind control that fosters these conditional friendships that bother us so much.. .

  OTWO - very true...

  I was for several years "one foot in and one foot out", but when I saw my son (at age 5-6) starting to make fanatical "cult like" statements "Jehovah doesnt like that... Jehovah is the only true god" I realized I must act and started my familys departure: I explained to my son what cults are, explained what GB is, explained who Rutherford was, explained daddy and mummie believe different things but its OK, ... He was confused for some time, went to mummie to tell her... there was some tension for some time, but now my son is mentally out and I succesfully work on my wife.

  When it comes to kids there is not time to wait, cults are great danger to them, since they trust everything parents say (until certain age...).

  I told my wife I will start pioneering next month ...

  ... if she will prove me from the bible accuracy of 1914. and i stressed i really mean it.. we had one of the usual evening discussions and this was the result.. she said she is not ready for this and must do some preparation and aditional study (which is funny for somebody raised up in a hard-core jw family, baptized over 25 years, who spent over a decade in regular pioneering, reads wt for hours every week and have brought several people into jw cult...).

  but ok, she pulled out several publications and is doing her preparation now and tonight we will have the discussion.. to motivate her i told her:.

  1) if you will be succesfull i will go to preach to everybody in our street about 1914/607 during my pioneering.

  the important point is - my wife is not fanatic, and is very open to discussion. She see many wrong things in the org and is open. We had so many deep discussions about 1914, Rutherford, generation, blood, alternative service (I almost got in príson years ago because of the stupid GB position...) I think she knows she cannot win, but just want to do "the deep reasearch evening on 1914". If she will outloudly admit JWs are wrong on 1914 I dont know... Till now she often concludes our discussions with some ridiculous statements like: "It must be the Truth, because nobody else makes such nice magazines... " (yesterday...)

  Me pioneering? Technically it would be propbably impossible now, but was a bet - strong statement to show how sure Iam on the subject and she accepted the challenge.

  I hope so.... in past 5 months I was 3 times at a meeting (just for the talk) and didnt report field service just for a year...
